Our beauty-obsessed readers will want to know that Bobbi Brown PRO and Director of Artistry/Education, Rogelio Reyna will be at Nordstrom South Coast Plaza on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11. Rogelio brings the latest in makeup tips and tricks straight from the runways of Fashion Week and the Red Carpet working alongside Bobbi Brown herself.
You can reserve a spot on Friday, April 10 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with Rogelio and his team who will be providing makeup lessons some designed to be as quick as 5 minutes, others that allow 20-45 minutes – to help you design an easy makeup routine. Makeup lessons are offered complimentary at Bobbi Brown counters year round with no product purchase necessary (but you do get free samples to take home!) There will also be a photo booth so you can take share pictures of looks following the makeup lessons.
Pre-book a lesson at 714.549.8300 ext. 1423 – or stop in either day to book at the time that’s best for them. You will receive an exclusive gift with a booked appointment and purchase of a new launch item.
On Saturday, April 11 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Rogelio will take part in the Nordstrom Trend Show where he’ll be discussing three key new launches for the brand, teaching guests how to get pretty in an instant and the “secret to perfect skin.” Tickets cost $20 and redeemable toward your beauty purchase on the day of the event.

Sloane Street Jewelry: Chic and Fashion Forward Memories

When your mom is Frances Gadbois, former designer and cofounder of JudeFrances Jewelry, and you have a quest to do something in honor of your grandmother, as Charlotte Gadbois a Chapman University student did, you encourage your mom to come out with a debut collection, named Sloane Street.
The mother and daughter Gadbois duo share emotional ties to Alzheimer's, as Charlotte’s grandmother (Frances’ mother) passed away from Alzheimer's. In her memory they created Sloane Street a fashion forward and chic jewelry collection.
They have partnered with the Alzheimer's Association and have designed five exclusive pieces where 100% of the proceeds goes back to Alzheimer's.
Frances travels the world searching for luxurious stones for the fresh and vibrant color combinations that make the collection a standout. There’s lapis with blue sapphire, ruby with pink sapphire, or bold combinations of lapis with tsavorite or mango chalcedony with pink sapphires.
Sloane Street’s Initially Yours collection can be personalized for any occasion with his and hers initials to a ring, pendant or earrings. Custom designs are also available to update pre-owned stones into pieces that will be worn for years to come.
Charlotte shares the same work ethic and creativity as her mother, but brings a new perspective and trendy vibe to Sloane Street. She studied for six months in Paris and returned with the determination to design her own classic and delicate pieces, Sage By Sloane Street, a 14k collection that’s ideal for 20 something’s.
